About Us
Coral Care Services was founded by Mark Ward and Steffen Jorgensen qualified medical professionals with many years of experience in both general nursing and complementary healthcare
They recognised that the nursing sector nationwide, in particular, did not have nursing and community care that offered a wide blend of general social and complementary care
They formed coral care services to offer agency health services that are human-centred and have a holistic approach to nursing while fully complying with nursing regulations.
Mark Ward
Director
Mark from Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan has amassed decades of experience in acute nursing. He has over 20 years of experience as a training instructor, providing First Aid, Manual Handling, CPR and various Health & Safety Courses.
Mark believes in person-centred care and is passionate about the development of care for the individual in acute and community healthcare.
Mark loves nothing better than spending time with his two children and also enjoys reading, hiking and outdoor activities.
Steffen Jorgensen
Director
Steffen was born in Denmark and raised in Ireland and is the owner and founder of The Herbalist’s Apothecary, a centre of holistic healthcare and education, where he holds healthcare clinics and runs courses and workshops.
Steffen attained his diplomas in Herbalism from the School Of Natural Health Sciences London and holds a diploma in Personal And Business Coaching from the Irish Life Coach Institute.
Steffen is passionate about his approach to holistic health and wellbeing and is a practising Herbalist since 2007.
Nothing makes Steffen happier than teaching and helping people develop their potential.
Geraldine Mc Ginnity
Nurse Manager
Geraldine was born and raised in Meath and is now living in Cavan.
She has over 30yrs experience within the Nursing Home and Palliative Care Sector as a ‘HealthCare Assistant’, ‘Registered General Nurse’ and now ‘Clinical Nurse Manager’.
Geraldine achieved a Batchelor of Science (Bsc Hons) Degree in General Nursing from DCU and then completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Leadership and Management with the Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI) in Dublin. She also undertook a management course, specifically designed for Assistant Directors & Directors of Nursing.
Geraldine is similarly passionate about the needs of the individual and their families who have Palliative Care needs and has attained a ‘European Certificate in Essential Palliative Care’ from the Princess Alice Hospice, which was completed in Limerick.
Geraldine is devoted to inspiring, supporting and empowering the nursing team, in conjunction with advocating for the needs of the individual in the Private and Community Care setting.
