Caring skills
The care skills course develops the skills needed to enable you to recognise the personal care needs of clients, respond effectively to patient needs and acquire practical skills in the area of client personal care.
Students will also develop a better understanding of the maintenance of a safe environment for clients of differing needs and provide a safe environment for staff, patients and any other people who may enter the workplace.
BLS/AHA-CPR
The AHA’s BLS (Basic Life Support) course is aimed at medical, healthcare and emergency or paramedical staff, and trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association
The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
Patient Moving & Handling
This highly valued course is for healthcare workers who want to learn the safe and effective techniques used to safely move and handle patients, in a variety of situations, under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work 2005 and Manual Handling Regulations 1993 and 2007.
There are currently no prerequisites for this course. Students should be physically well enough to carry out a range of patient moving and handling techniques.
Upon successful completion of this course students will be issued with a certificate. This cert will be valid for 2 years.

This is why we offer a comprehensive induction training programme, designed to welcome you and provide you with the skills and knowledge to fulfil your role with a clear understanding of the responsibilities, mission and values of the wider organisation.
Our induction programmes are designed to support you within the first days, weeks and months of your employment. Our programmes are delivered using a blended learning approach consisting of classroom training, online training and practical training. During this time, you will have a tutor dedicated to you, to provide support, advice and guidance to help you settle into your role.
Dementia Care
The course covers all aspects of dementia, including the symptoms to look out for, information on how dementia is diagnosed and tips for adaptations you can make to the person’s home and lifestyle in order to make everyday living easier.
You’ll be empowered to challenge common thinking about dementia and to develop person-centred approaches to working with people experiencing cognitive loss. You will learn to apply dementia-specific knowledge, skills and values to confidently care for patients with dementia and promote the rights of people living with the condition. This course is suitable for all healthcare staff who are currently working in the area of dementia.
Enteral Feeding
The enteral feeding course is intended for Nurses and health care staff caring for enterally fed patients and to provide the practical knowledge to deliver safe, person-centred care for someone taking food via one of these methods, including Nasogastric tube, PEG, RIG, Gastrostomy and Jejunostomy Tubes)
The course has been developed to help increase knowledge and understanding, covering all aspects of enteral feeding, from anatomy and physiology to specific tube care management.
Infection Control
Our fully certified Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) training course is designed to give those at risk from infection the essential skills to protect themselves in line with national standards. The course provides the knowledge and understanding of how to work safely in environments where there is a risk of infection transfer.
This course is for people working in the healthcare and nursing areas, or any profession where infection control and management of it is required, providing students with core infection prevention and control knowledge and skills to support good clinical practice implementation in the healthcare setting.
Fire safety and awareness training
The Coral Care Services course explains the basics of Fire safety and how to prevent, how to act safely in a fire and empower staff to develop a culture of fire safety awareness
It is aimed at raising awareness of fire hazards and risks and training people on how to react safely in the event of an emergency fire. Students will gain essential knowledge and skills to take preventive fire managing measures and how to act safely in the event of a fire.
From identifying the nature, cause, and behaviour of the fire to ensuring self-safety and mitigating the spread of the fire, the course follows a comprehensive step-by-step outline for fire safety awareness.
Tracheostomy Training
The Adult & Paediatric Tracheostomy Awareness Training program caters to healthcare professionals seeking to expand their expertise in complex care, particularly those with limited tracheostomy exposure. Geared towards registered nurses, community carers, support workers, and healthcare assistants, this training offers a comprehensive understanding of tracheostomy care.
Participants will delve into the nuances of managing clients with tracheostomies in community settings. Through simulated practice sessions, attendees will confront realistic scenarios commonly encountered in tracheostomy care, fostering hands-on experience in a safe, controlled environment.
